The Knowledge and Language Engineering Laboratory (KLE) at Pohang University of Science and Technology has been involved in various aspects of Natural Language Processing and Computational Linguistics since 1991 under prof. Jong-Hyeok Lee.
Natural language processing (NLP) is a major subfield in artificial intelligence, linguistics and information engineering, studying and implementing computational technologies which enable computers to understand and simulate phenomena of human languages.
We are figuring out ways to solve various NLP issues by using statistical methods, machine learning (deep learning) techniques and linguistic knowledge in a variety of ways. Our current research interests are as below.
